Get help with the SchoolFlow parent app — account access, wallet top-ups, attendance, notifications, and more.
Download SchoolFlow from the App Store or Google Play, open the app, and choose "Create Account." You'll enter your name, email, and phone number, then verify your email with a one-time code (OTP) we send you. Once verified, ask your child's school administrator to link your account to your child's student record.
Check your spam/junk folder first — codes are sent from our mailer and sometimes get filtered. Codes expire after a short window, so if a few minutes have passed, request a new one from the sign-in screen. If it still doesn't arrive after a couple of tries, contact us and we'll check on our end.
On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot Password." We'll send a one-time verification code to your registered email so you can set a new password. If you no longer have access to that email address, contact support so we can verify your identity manually.
Child accounts are linked by the school administration, since it involves confirming that you are the child's parent or guardian. Speak to your child's school office with your registered SchoolFlow email/phone, and they will connect your account to your child's student record.
From your child's profile in the app, choose "Top Up," pick an amount, and pay by mobile money or card. Payments are processed securely through our payment partner (Flutterwave); we never store your card details. In supported schools you can also top up by dialing our USSD code from your registered phone.
Mobile money payments can take a minute or two to confirm; the balance updates automatically once the payment provider confirms it. If a payment shows as failed but you were charged, don't retry immediately — contact support with the date, amount, and phone number used, and we'll verify and correct it. Wallet credits are only ever applied after we've confirmed payment with our payment partner, so a failed status means no charge should have gone through.
Open your child's profile in the app and go to "Attendance" to see check-in and check-out times recorded at school. Some schools also send a notification when your child checks in or out.
Make sure notifications are enabled for SchoolFlow in your phone's system settings, and that you allowed notifications when the app first asked. Also confirm you're signed in — notifications are tied to your account, not your device.
Go to Profile > Account Settings in the app to update your name, phone number, or password. Changing your password requires entering your current password first.
Go to Profile > Account Settings > Delete Account in the app, and confirm with your current password. This immediately removes your personal information (email, phone, password) from our systems. See "Account & Data Deletion" below for full details.
Contact us using any of the methods above and describe what happened, including your device type (iPhone/Android) and, if possible, a screenshot. This helps us reproduce and fix the issue quickly.
You can delete your SchoolFlow account at any time, directly from the app:
In the app: Profile → Account Settings → Delete Account → confirm with your current password.
No app access? Email contact@msilab.rw from your registered email address (or contact us via phone/WhatsApp above) and request account deletion — we'll verify your identity and process it manually.
